Neha is broadly interested in exploring probiotics from the High-altitude region. Her current research focuses on isolating potential probiotics with anti-obesity effects from the traditional fermented foods of the North-western Himalayan region. She topped CCS University, Meerut, with her Masters in Microbiology. She is currently supported by the ICMR program for SRF Fellowship. Outside of research, Neha is very interested in gardening and listening to music.

Aman is currently pursuing his PhD under Dr Rakshak Kumar on the problem of vitamin D deficiency among individuals. He is working on the aspect of vitamin D2 enriched shiitake mushroom for finding a nutraceutical solution to the deficiency. Apart from academics, he likes to write vivid stories, travel and explore new locations.

Ph.D. Research scholar in CSIR-IHBT working on the problem of inefficient biogas production in cold regions. I had done M.Sc. degree in Microbiology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. My long-term goal is to establish a career in research and development so as to be a part of the latest development, which will allow me to pursue a technically challenging career track and cultivate my interpersonal skills and to achieve challenging heights.

Sareeka has a MSc (Hons) in microbiology from Panjab university Chandigarh. She is pursuing her doctor of philosophy under the guidance of Dr. Rakshak Kumar at CSIR-IHBT Palampur. Her area of research interest is high altitude microbiology, waste management, composting, and biomass valorisation.
